結(jié)構(gòu)︰主詞＋be＋as＋much＋名詞＋as＋（be）＋主詞

說明︰此句型意為“…和…同樣…”。“as much＋＋as＋（be）＋”的 be 通常省略或放句末。

Comets are just as much members of the sun’s family as (are) the other planets.

彗星和其它的行星同樣是太陽家族的成員。

To eat too much is as much a bad thing as to eat nothing.吃太多和什么都不吃同樣是壞事。

He is as much a member of the orchestra as Tom. 他和湯姆同樣是管弦樂隊的成員。

not as/so + ADJ/ADV + as + N

結(jié)構(gòu)︰not as／so＋形容詞／副詞＋as＋名詞

說明︰此句型意為“不像…那樣…”。as…as 可用于肯定句或，而 so…as 僅可用于構(gòu)中。

It is not as (so) popular as other foods. 它不像其它食物那樣受歡迎。

He does not study as (so) hard as John. 他不像約翰那樣用功。

I am not as (so) careful as Tom. 我不像湯姆那樣細(xì)心。

as far as ...

結(jié)構(gòu)︰as far as＋名詞

說明︰此句型意為“到…之遠(yuǎn)；到…的程度”。而“as far as＋＋”則表示“只要…，在…范圍內(nèi)的話…”。

Swallows from England go as far as South Africa. 英國來的燕子飛到南非那樣遠(yuǎn)的地方。

We walked as far as the railroad station. 我們走到火車站那樣遠(yuǎn)的地方。

We drove as far south as Kaohsiung. 我們往南開車一直到高雄。

He went as far as Yokohama to meet his friend from England.

他遠(yuǎn)至橫濱去迎接由英國來的朋友。

I swam as far as I could. 我盡可能地游遠(yuǎn)。
